👺 The Knoblin! Nashville's newest fall mascot and the centerpiece of Donelson's brand-new Knoblin Fest, a music and arts festival happening this October at Donelson Plaza.

Measures approximately 24" tall and 8" wide.

Made from weatherproof outdoor signage material with vibrant full-color printing. Illustrated by artist Camilla Spadafino from her home studio in East Nashville, and made in the USA. Comes ready to hang with a ribbon. Apples and corn — the very crops the Knoblin was said to steal — are featured right on the artwork.

👻 The legend: The Knoblin gets its name from Todd's Knob, a hill behind Donelson Plaza, combined with old tales of a goblin blamed for missing crops and livestock and strange noises around the area dating back to the early 1800s. As the story goes, families would shut their blinds and stay inside after dark, and farmers would leave out apples, corn, and other crops as an offering so the creature would leave them be. That local legend was rediscovered by the festival's founders and is now the whole reason for the season in Donelson!

🎀 About the ribbon: Each Knoblin is finished with a ribbon chosen from whatever I have on hand in the studio, so the color and pattern will vary from the photo and from one piece to the next. Every one is a little different — that's part of the charm!

🐈‍⬛🎃 Pairs beautifully with the Scaredy Cat Door Hanger for a matching fall front-door display.
